Situation
An aging server onsite needs replacing.
Approach
We quoted and supplied a HP server for replacement, also upgrading the site to have Virtual Machine Servers as well, meaning more resiliency in the future.
One working day in a Half Term the old server was migrated to the new server and virtual machines. Downtime was minimal for the site.
Impact and Advantage
The site now have a server that has future updates and warranty. Its also faster being based on SSDs.
